- Reception for Filmmakers and Friends, with entertainment provided by the North Carolina Film Orchestra
Enjoy the Longleaf community of Official Selection Filmmakers and all our friends at this Reception. Music by the North Carolina Film Orchestra, appetizers and drinks make the evening fun. Friday, May 11, 6:15–8:15 p.m. Advance tickets have sold outthanks for the support! A limited number of tickets have been held back for admission Friday evening. We regret that we cannot accommodate everyone, but remember our Wrap Party Saturday evening: we’ll have plenty of space there. - Movies-N-Moonlight, our first outdoor screen block!
Like all our film blocks, this one is free; but it’s also outside, bathed in moonlight! Let us know you’re coming—some seating will be provided, or bring your own as a guarantee. Note: While the independent films screened are not rated by the Motion Picture Association of America (MPAA), most would fall within the PG-13 range. Friday, May 11, 8:30–10 p.m. - Women in Film, North Carolina Style, our morning panel for filmmakers and film fans, with women filmmakers Kelly Creedon, Lana Garland, Nicolle Jones, and Camden Watts; moderated by Beth Yerxa

Be here to congratulate all winners Longleaf as cash prizes and our signature tiles are awarded in multiple categories. Applaud at will. The ceremony is free and open to the public; space is limited. Saturday, May 12, following the final film block in Daniels Auditorium. - Wrap Party!
That’s a wrap! This is a FREE public reception for friends, family members, and other supporters of filmmakers and Longleaf at Oak & Dagger Public House. Your favorite brew is on you; munchies are on Longleaf. Donations support Longleaf 2019! Let us know you’re coming; registration is requested but not required. Saturday, May 12, following the awards ceremony.
