Longleaf 2021: Year Seven Awards and Prize Program

Like all Longleaf events and programs, our Awards and Prize Program is free, but registration is required.

Awards and Prize Program
Saturday, May 11, 7:30 p.m.

This year’s award-winning films will be announced in a live-streamed program hosted by CBS17 News anchor Bill Young. We will share a few trailers, a little trivia, and more—so you can learn about our award-winning films. The more you know, the better you’ll be able to select which ones to put on your watch list! During the awards program, all winners will receive one of our annual North Carolina–designed and handcrafted award tiles; others will also win the usual cash prizes (for certain categories).

Awards and prizes for Longleaf Film Festival LFF 2021 will be given out in a virtual presentation
Let everyone know you’ll be attending—
and share your congratulations with this year’s award winners!

Bill Young arrived in Raleigh from WAAY in Huntsville, Alabama, where he was an evening and midday anchor and from, before that, KOKH, a Fox affiliate in Oklahoma City, and stations in El Paso and Waco, Texas. A strong believer in community involvement, Bill has agreed to host our Longleaf awards program for a second year.
